Tension has gripped Farhareli area in Bangale Sub-County, Tana River County, after a 24-year-old charcoal worker was shot dead by two armed men who attacked a group of casual labourers on Saturday at around 9 p.m. The victim, Robert Mtalii Ekitela, was one of six casual labourers working for a woman in the charcoal business when the two gunmen confronted the group.
