Community in Mourning After Malatani Businesswoman's Death Sparks Renewed Calls for Mental Health Support

 Malatani village in Mbooni East, Makueni County, is mourning the death of a 55-year-old businesswoman, identified as Penina, whose death is being treated as a suspected suicide.

Family members discovered her early in the morning after she failed to wake up. Police who responded to the scene confirmed that no note was found, and the circumstances behind what happened remain unclear.
