Former nominated senator Millicent Omanga and her husband Dr Francis Nyamiobo have opened up about their 24-year marriage in a rare joint interview on the Obinna Show aired on September 10, 2026.
The couple said they first met at a mutual friend's house party in January 2003. Nyamiobo said he remembers seeing Omanga at around 6.15 pm and was so taken aback that he stammered during their introduction, a moment Omanga recalled with laughter.
Appearing relaxed and playful on the couch set, the two said their long marriage has been held together by honesty, friendship, humour and generosity. Omanga described her husband as fun and said they still play games together, joking that you cannot get bored around him even after 24 years.
