we must now emphasize the distinction between genuine activism and criminal behaviour-Didmus Baraza

It is imperative for our nation to highlight the clear difference between authentic activism and criminal actions. The genuine Gen Z protest was focused on addressing important issues, unlike the current wave of looting and violent behavior. It is essential for law enforcement to address these lawbreakers with firmness and fairness. President Ruto has taken a positive step forward by addressing the real issues concerning the Gen Z and is in the process of establishing a dialogue committee, which is a promising development.

We must remember that we are all part of one nation, regardless of our age or background. The unity of Gen Z, millennials, women, retirees, and the elderly is crucial for the overall cohesion of our country. It is important that everyone feels a sense of comfort and belonging in Kenya, and their voices are heard and respected.

President Ruto's efforts to engage with the genuine concerns of the Gen Z and his commitment to establishing a dialogue committee are commendable. It is a positive step towards addressing the issues that matter to the younger generation and fostering a sense of inclusivity and unity within the nation. It is crucial for all members of society to come together and work towards a common goal of progress and harmony.
